Thames Valley Boxer Rescue

          1.)     FOLLOW UP CONTACT.

All new owners will be contacted by a representative of THAMES VALLEY BOXER                    RESCUE after the adoption with the object of:

A.) Ensuring that your boxer is happily settled.

B.) To offer any assistance that may be required.

          2.)     MICROCHIP REGISTRATION.

If the information is not available at the time of the adoption, we strongly recommend that your new                    boxer is scanned by your vet as soon as possible to obtain the number of any micro-chip that may be                    registered to its previous owner.

THAMES VALLEY BOXER RESCUE can then either assist or arrange for the registration                    to be transferred.

Should your boxer go missing at any time, the new owner must notify THAMES VALLEY BOXER                    RESCUE, your local Dog Warden and www.doglost.co.uk immediately.

There is a link to the "Dogslost" website on our useful links page.

If a dog spends any time in the rescue before being homed, it will have had the microchip registration                    transferred to THAMES VALLEY BOXER RESCUE and the registration will always remain with                    the rescue with the new owner registered at a secondary address.

          3.)     INSURING YOUR NEW PET.

THAMES VALLEY BOXER RESCUE always advises new owners to take out pet insurance to                    cover any veterinary fees. We include a PETPLAN offer of four weeks free pet insurance with every                    re-homed boxer after the adoption is confirmed.

          4.)     VETERINARY FEES.

THAMES VALLEY BOXER RESCUE will not be held responsible for any veterinary fees incurred                    after the adoption through lack of any satisfactory pet insurance.

          5.)     FEEDING AND HOUSING.

All new owners must undertake to feed and house any rehomed boxer to the satisfaction of                    THAMES VALLEY BOXER RESCUE.

All rescued boxers will be homed only as pets and we will never place a dog into a home if it is                    intended that it will have to spend most of its time outside the family home.

          6.)     DONATIONS.

THAMES VALLEY BOXER RESCUE is supported and administered voluntarily and all  new                    owners will be requested to make a donation to the rescue at the time of adoption.

We regret that donations cannot be refunded should you decide not to keep your boxer.

          7.)     PASSING YOUR BOXER ON.

Should it become necessary to part with your adopted boxer for any reason, THAMES  VALLEY                    BOXER RESCUE must be notified immediately and under no circumstances may your boxer be                    passed on to a third party without prior consent.

In most cases, THAMES VALLEY BOXER RESCUE will undertake any necessary re-homing.

8.)     THAMES VALLEY BOXER RESCUE LIABILITIES.

THAMES VALLEY BOXER RESCUE will not be held responsible for any claims, liabilities, damage                    or costs whatsoever in connection with your boxer after the adoption and the new owner will                    indemnify THAMES VALLEY BOXER RESCUE against any claims that may be brought against                    THAMES VALLEY BOXER RESCUE or it's proprietor(s) by any third parties.

We would suggest that you have your boxer insured against such liability.

          9.)     UNSUITABLE HOMING.

THAMES VALLEY BOXER RESCUE reserves the right to remove any boxer that we consider to                    have become unsuitably placed due to any change in circumstances.

In such cases, it is regretted that any donation that has been made to THAMES VALLEY BOXER                    RESCUE cannot be refunded.

10.)   ANY FUTURE CHANGES OF ADDRESS.

All new owners must notify THAMES VALLEY BOXER RESCUE of any change of address.

11.)  UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MAY ANY DOG OR BITCH             PLACED INTO A HOME BY THAMES VALLEY BOXER             RESCUE BE USED AT ANY TIME FOR THE PURPOSES             OF BREEDING.
