THESE ARE SOME OF THE REASONS WHY WE NEED DONATIONS.
THAMES VALLEY BOXER RESCUE is funded entirely by voluntary contributions so it is usual
that a donation is made to the rescue by the new owner when a dog is placed into a new home.
We cannot survive without these donations and if you read the stories on our doggy tails page,
you will see just how some of our rescued dogs have benefitted.
KLOEY'S veterinary bill came to just over £2000.
ROXY'S veterinary bill came to around a £1000.
Without the donations that we ask for at the time of placement, we would not have been able to pay these veterinary bills and the only option would have been to have both of these dogs put to sleep.
Although we have only highlighted two dogs, veterinary bills are an ongoing expense, whether it
be for inoculations, a bitch or dog being neutered or just something simple like having a dog microchipped.
Sometimes a dog has to come into the rescue at very short notice and we have to put them into temporary kennels. Donations are used to pay for this which, on occasions, can be for several weeks.
All of our veterinary and kennelling bills are paid entirely by the donations made to THAMES VALLEY BOXER RESCUE and without these donations, we would not be able to continue to help other dogs.
